With Woman On The Move, the impossible is possible

Updated: Apr 1, 2019

A local motivational group brings together women of all ages and diversity to help encourage them to reach their goals.

Woman on the Move, located in South Florida, was founded back in 2017 by single mother and author Jasira Monique. The event as held at 413 24 St. from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 17.

Originally a poem written by Monique, the group now hosts women speakers who carry leading positions in the community.

Influential women such as Attorney Suzette Speaks, Certified Professional Coach Dr. Davele E. Bursor, and Ashleigh Hernandez, owner of Southern Custom Iron & Art, spoke at Woman on the Move.

"I think it's really important for women to be exposed to feminine leaders of all ages...and [that] they are able to see something about the other person that reminds them of themselves," Monique said.
