What started off as a hopeful year has now turned into a global pandemic. Countries around the world are all fighting the novel coronavirus, also known as COVID-19. Necessary supplies are in short demand, businesses are closing their doors and people are isolated from the ones they love. The Beacon Today reporters reached out to a variety of people across the globe from a grocery store owner in the Netherlands to students in Italy and Australia.
